Carebase grew out of direct work with organizations caring for vulnerable children, where a spreadsheet wasn't secure or structured enough, but a generic CRM didn't fit how a child's case actually unfolds over time. It gives care coordinators and facility staff one system of record for each child — the circumstances that brought them into care, the milestones and case notes tracked along the way, and the outcome the case is working toward — plus the role-based access and sponsor or donor relationship tracking that programs need day to day. It's case management built for child welfare, not a CRM repurposed for it.
